About Pamela Joy Dlugos
Pamela Joy Dlugos is an award-winning author, educator, and spiritual encourager whose words bring God’s Word to life, offering comfort, insight, and hope in every season of life. A former teacher with degrees from Ohio University (BFA) and The Ohio State University (MA), she has spent her life nurturing others—both in the classroom and through her faith-filled writing. Her work has appeared in The Lutheran Journal and numerous Christian magazines for children.
Pamela’s first book, Messages from Heaven (updated in 2025 as Heavenly Messages), was written in memory of her only sibling and created as a gift for his two young daughters. The book was a finalist in the 2020 National Indie Excellence Awards and continues to offer Biblical truths and encouragement to help readers live as a shining light.
Her second book, Cleon, the Crooked Tree—a tale of self-acceptance and life purpose for all ages—has been newly updated with beautiful, lively illustrations for a new generation of readers. It was inspired by a unique tree spotted on one of many trips to California with her husband.
The Inner Voice: A Widow’s Journey to Healing, Guided by the Holy Spirit, winner of a 2026 International Impact Book Award, is Pamela’s most personal work to date. Written after the loss of her beloved husband of 45 years, it is a Spirit-led memoir of grief, healing, and divine comfort.
Her devotional companion, Seeds of Joy: Growing in God’s Presence Through Scripture, Prayer, and the Beauty of Creation, a finalist in the 2026 Next Generation INDIE Book Awards, grew from a question at the heart of her own healing — what if joy isn’t something you find someday, but something you begin to notice right where you are? It offers the reassurance that joy and sorrow can coexist, and that God is near in both — one day at a time.
Through it all, Pamela remains devoted to encouraging others with the message that even in sorrow, we are never alone. ReJOYce Publications, the imprint she founded to carry that vision forward, is now home to her full and growing collection of titles.
She divides her time between Powell, Ohio, and Bonita Springs, Florida, drawing creative inspiration from both places.
About ReJOYce Publications
ReJOYce Publications exists to inspire joy, strengthen faith, and share God’s truth through meaningful books and resources. Born from a Spirit-led vision, it is both a publishing home and a ministry — a place where stories of faith, healing, and hope find their voice.
What began as one woman’s journey through grief and renewal has grown into a calling to help others share their own stories. Through writing, mentoring, and encouragement, ReJOYce comes alongside aspiring authors who believe their experiences — however hard-won — are worth telling.
Because every story of survival, faith, and purpose has the power to remind someone else that they are not alone.
